Schola Cantorum, together with the Stellenbosch University Camerata, led by Suzanne Martens and conducted by Martin Berger, will perform Mozart’s Requiem in D minor on Friday March 15 and Saturday March 16, at 7pm, at the Endler Hall.
Performing musicians are Hlengiwe Mkhwanazi (soprano), Lente Louw (alto), Jason Atherton (tenor), and Conroy Scott (bass).
The well-known masterpiece is an iconic work in the oratorio repertoire, celebrated and beloved throughout the centuries, and remains one of the most regularly performed choral works.
There will be a reception after each performance, where audiences will be able to meet the artists, sponsored by the Hermann Ohlthaver Trust.
