Groote Post, located in the Darling Hills, hosts its final Country Market of the season on Sunday April 30
The terrace alongside the Groote Post Cellar will be the centre of activities, with a variety of country offerings.
Guests can expect artisan foods, arts and crafts, home-ware and décor, and of course, Groote Post’s wines which will be available for tasting and purchase by the glass, bottle or case.
Local stallholders will have an array of Darling gourmet produce on offer, including organic mushrooms, Weskus Worswa, divine breads, charcuterie, olive oils, pomegranate products and juice, organic preservative free chilli sauces, handmade toffees from Darling Sweet, craft beers from Darling Brew and much more.
Children will be able to play on the rolling lawns, and there will be a playground, tractor rides, Zorb balls and kiddy’s quad bikes available.
Newton & Co Duo, a combination of Newton on guitar and vocals and Maria on violin, will provide the live en tertaiment, playing popular cover music from golden oldies to modern contemporary songs, to keep guests entertained.
After browsing through the market, visitors can relax in the shade under the trees enjoying the music and tucking into their eats from the market while sipping on Groote Post wines and Darling Brew’s craft beers.
Groote Post’s restaurant, Hilda’s Kitchen, will be open, however, booking is essential.
