Love and blues at The Playhouse

■ Singer and pianist Cat Simoni, left, takes to the boards at The Playhouse Theatre, Lourensford Road, Somerset West, for two performances this weekend. On Saturday February 10 at 8pm, in Cat Love Billy, Elton and Freddie, she pays tribute to Billy Joel, Elton John and Freddie Mercury, and on Sunday February 11, at 3pm, she sings the blues in Under that Old Blue Moon, a tribute to the likes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Tony Bennett and Peggy Lee.
