Strand Athletics Club is proud to host the Leapfrog 21.1km, and the Labourwise 10km run on Saturday April 1.
The Leapfrog promises beautiful beach views, with its fast and flat route overlooking False Bay.
Last year the event drew around 2 400 athletes from all over the Western Cape, and this year it is expected to grow to around 2 800. This makes it one of the biggest annual sporting events in the Helderberg area.
The races will kick off at Gordon’s Bay Primary School. Starting times are 7am for the Leapfrog 21.1km and 7.30am for the Labourwise 10km.

Online entries close on Thursday March 24. Manual entries can be done at most outlets of Sportsmans Warehouse up until Saturday March 18. Limited entries may be available on race mornming for both races at the start, at Gordon’s Bay Primary School from 5.15am to 6.45am.
Prize money will be up for grabs to the first three athletes in each age category for male and female, as well as team prizes for the first men’s and women’s teams overall.
