Krismis under, and with, the stars

The Taalmonument and Shining Stars are hosting an evening with the Boland’s singing stars in the Garden Theatre, on Saturday November 30, at 7pm. Paarl’s Marco Mentoor and his band will provide background music for the Shining Stars, Winelands Chamber Choir, Paarl Valley Eisteddfod, Idas Valley String Band, Paul Roos Boys Choir and Sinc4. Gates open at 5pm.  Tickets can be booked through Computicket and the participating groups. Entry costs R100 for adults and R50 for children from 3 to 13 years old. Children under three enter free. Visitors can take their own picnics, or order one in advance on 021 863 2800/072 705 3590. A blanket or pillow, and warm clothes are recommended.
