■ Rustenberg and Schoongezicht gardens will share their gorgeous gardens with the public on an open weekend, from Friday October 27 to Sunday October 29, from 9am to 4.30pm. Refreshments will be served under the oak trees, and there will be plenty of plants to buy. Entry is R50, and guests can visit both gardens.
