With an abundance of festive feasts on offer at Spier this Easter, the historic wine farm in Stellenbosch offers a leisurely Easter Sunday Feast, while the Supernova band and the tinkling Eerste River serenade you, enjoy lunch on the terrace.
And from Good Friday, April 2, through Easter Sunday, April 4, from 11am to 4pm, there will be a pop-up braai station on the Spier Werf, with lamb tacos, pickled fish tortillas and curried sosaties, under the farmyard’s ancient oaks.
Your little one can make their own rabbit ears and a basket for collecting Easter eggs, and the one-hour workshop starts at 9.30am and costs R100 a child.
There is also chocolate and wine tasting, for R70, while the children have their own grape juice tasting for R40, and they’ll get the chance to decorate their own Easter Bunny cookie too.
Enjoy hot cross buns at Vadas Smokehouse, Easter Egg croissants and mosbolletjie bread too, or order a picnic basket underneath the ancient oaks of the Spier Werf.
