Delheim harvest festival

Guests enjoying the 2019 Delheim harvest festival.

Delheim estate’s harvest festival takes place on Saturday January 25. The festival features a variety of entertainment including grape picking and stomping, which start at 10.30am. There will be live music, tractor rides and plenty of food and drink provided by various food stalls. The R480 adult ticket price includes four food items and a bottle of Delheim Rosé 2019, Sauvignon Blanc 2019 or Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 that can be enjoyed at the festival or taken home. Also included is a surprise reward for hard work in the vineyards. Without giving away too much, this is a keeper: a grand gift for a grand occasion. R100 of every adult ticket sold will be donated to the Pebbles Project, a non-profit organisation enriching the lives of children and their families in the Winelands farming communities in the Western Cape. The R280 ticket price for children under 18 year of age includes grape picking andstomping, two juices, a snack treat and three food items. The festival is free for children under 3 years of age and there’s also access to the kiddies play area and face painting. Tickets from Quicket.
