Milneton Players will present a modern-day music hall revue, Strictly British, at Milnerton Playhouse, in Pienaar Road, from Saturday May 6 to Sunday May 21.
Opening night, on May 6, will be a gala event coinciding with the coronation of King Charles lll.
Leading up to the evening’s performance will be a Special British Edition of the Milnerton Essential Market, from 10am, on the lawns at the playhouse. Expect British-inspired arts, crafts and foods and beer.
At midday, the coronation of King Charles will be streamed live in the Milnerton Playhouse auditorium, so take your flags. Tickets cost R40 each at the door.
The Royal Coronation Performance of Strictly British starts at 8pm. Patrons are encouraged to dress royally. Tickets for this special event are selling for R250, which includes the daytime coronation screening and the show at 8pm. To make it an even more fun event Milnerton Players will be selling participation packs for R40 on Quicket and R50 at the door.
Thereafter evening performances of Strictly British will take place from Thursday to Saturday with matinees on Saturdays and Sundays plus an additional Wednesday evening performance on May 17.
Standard ticket prices apply at R150 for evening shows and R140 for the matinee.
