Paul Cluver wine Estate in Elgin is hosting picnics which features a range of dishes off the SALT@Paul Cluver menu, along with a number of picnic classics, such as local cheeses and charcuterie, SALT’s tomato salad with wasabi cream cheese and basil pesto and pulled smoked lamb shoulder with rosemary and garlic flat bread; rainbow carrot salad with harrisa dressing, a selection of olives, homemade cumin onion marmalade, chicken liver pâté, and for dessert SALT’s irresistible banana rumbaba with crème pat muesli crumble and poached fruit. Each picnic serves two and costs R450, which includes a bottle of still or sparkling mineral water. Or, opt to include a bottle of Paul Cluver Sauvignon Blanc at R550 per picnic.Â
