The two-day Chocolate Festival takes place on Saturday August 31 and Sunday September 1, from 10am to 4pm, at The Woodmill in Stellenbosch. There will be lots of chocolate, macaroons, brownies, donuts, ice-cream, liquorice, marshmallows, candyfloss and more. And as a non-chocolate balance, there will also be charcuterie, hamburgers, pizzas, artisanal cheeses and breads and so much more. The young ones will be kept entertained with a movie lounge, face painting and popcorn, while the adults can enjoy live music, gin, bubbly, wine and craft beer. Tickets cost R180, which includes a goodie bag, and children under 18 pay R50, which includes popcorn and a Slush Puppy. Pre-booking via Webtickets is essential, as tickets are limited to 2 500 a day.Â
