Belgian singer-songwriter Hannelore Bedert returns to South Africa for a once-off performance with songstress Gloria Bosman and singer-songwriter Hilandi du Toit at the Drostdy Theatre in Stellenbosch on Saturday April 1 at 8.15pm.

Musician Matthys Maree will accompany the group on piano and is also the musical director of the show that is produced by Ingrid Howard from Tale Be Told Productions.

Two different worlds, Belgium and South Africa, meet on the stage in the Cape Winelands. Four seasons, a multi-cultural collaboration, portrays the various seasons or stages of life.

Producer Ingrid Howard uses songs from Bedert, Bosman, Du Toit, Maree and other artists to portray the various emotions associated with everyday life ranging from happiness, love to despair and loss.

Bedert started her career singing in English, as part of the group Rheen, but her breakthrough came as a solo artist. She performs in theatres and cultural centres in both Belgium and the Netherlands. with an accompanying group of musicians.

Bosman has performed all over South Africa with many well-known artists She has broken into the Afrikaans music market, enabling her to perform at events like the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees and Skouspel.

Singer-songwriter Du Toit is known for her interaction with audiences through her music, stories and guitar skills.

Maree has contributed to the music industry full-time since 1995 with a focus on arrangements, studio production and as a session musician on piano, keyboards and accordion.
