■ The Helderberg Village Music Society is holding a concert at Talani Terrace, on Sunday February 11, at 4pm. Musicians Nikolaas Kende, who plays the piano, and Jolente De Mayer, who plays the violin, hail from Antwerp in Belgium. The two have been playing together since 2003, and this is their first concert tour to South Africa. Their new recording of the Beethoven Kreutzer Sonata for Violin and Piano was awarded the Golden Label award in June 2016. Both have been competitors and winners at major European music competitions.
